Dr. Jack Berne has spent the past 50 years helping children achieve good dental health without pain or fear of the dental office. He attended the University of Miami for his dental education, earning his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1962. He spent two years with the US Navy Dental Corps before returning to complete his pediatric specialty training at Emory University School of Dentistry. Over the years, Dr. Berne has held teaching positions at Mount Sinai Hospital Dental Clinic and Nova University Dental School.
Dr. Berne is an active member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Florida Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the South Florida Dental Association, and the North Dade Dental Association.
Dr. Berne has been married to his wife, Helen, for 52 years. They have four children and eleven grandchildren, ranging in age from seven to twenty. In his free time, Dr. Berne enjoys playing tennis and golf, speed walking, traveling, and spending quality time with his entire family.
